The need for nonreligious funeral celebrants is growing!
More and more people do not identify with a religion, even if they describe themselves as spiritual. This is creating an extensive need for secular services of all types—but particularly end of life services.
During this course, we share deep and valuable knowledge with you about creating and conducting compassionate and personal end of life ceremonies.
The course also covers end-of-life challenges specific to POC and LGBTQ+ people from a humanist foundation. We don't shy away from conversations about pricing or marketing, either.
Our course content has been restructured to now include on-demand videos, along with in-class zoom meetings where you connect with a cohort of students and are led by an expert funeral officiant.
Meet Our Expert Instructor, Beth Stokes!

In funeral celebrancy I found a livelihood that does all that and more. It's profound, humbling, and deeply kind work to do. Read a Q&A with Beth!
P.S. End-of-life celebrancy is a great role for both introverted and extroverted people, for midlife career changers, and those just starting out.
