The need for nonreligious funeral celebrants is growing!
Most Americans describe themselves as spiritual, yet the majority are unaffiliated with a specific religion. This is creating a need for secular ceremonies of all typesâbut particularly end-of-life services.Â
During this course, you'll learn from our experienced instructors how to create and conduct custom end-of-life ceremonies.
In addition to learning how to create various end-of-life ceremonies, you'll also get guidance on serving POC and LGBTQ+ sensitively, understanding the historical end-of-life challenges they have faced.
We don't shy away from conversations about pricing and marketing, either.Â
We've recently improved the course, and it now includes more learning hours via on-demand videos that supplement our in-class zoom meetings. Come connect with a cohort of students and an expert funeral officiant as you take on this fulfilling role!

"Seven years ago I looked for a role that provided meaning, beauty, and significance to peopleâand that allowed me to be creative, challenged, and flexible with my schedule. In funeral celebrancy I found a livelihood that's all that and more. It's profound, humbling, and deeply kind work to do." Read a Q&A with Beth!Â
